FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING within New Zealand for purchases over $100. For purchases under $100 there is a $6.50 charge to anywhere in N.Z. Items are delivered through New Zealand Couriers and they will require a signature on delivery. Please note over night shipping may not be available to some rural delivery addresses in New Zealand. Orders will need to be received by 3 pm on a working day to be sent overnight.
FREE to Australia for purchases over $500. Anything under $500 there is a $25 charge.
Please allow up to 6 days for delivery.

FREE for purchases over $500. Anything under $500 there is a $50 charge. We will contact you my email and request it be paid before your item is shipped if it is not paid. Please allow up to 6 days for delivery.
All international shipping is processed through New Zealand Post Track and Trace. This will take between 5-10 days to be delivered. This time frame does not allow for customs clearance, which can vary between countries.
All customs fees, duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. We accept no responsibility for additional costs that may be charged when the item enters the country. Your local customs office should be able to provide you with an estimate of cost.
You will receive email notification once we have received your order. As soon as funds are cleared we will process your order – and you will receive a sweet package in the mail…!
-Purchases made on the weekend or a New Zealand public holiday will not be processed until the next working day. Please note we are unable to deliver to P.O Box numbers.
-RURAL N.Z DELIVERIES - We can deliver to New Zealand rural addresses.
-Some super heavy/bulky items may incur an additional charge.

Exchange or Refund
If you do decide your purchase isn’t right for you we are happy as to swap a size or find you a suitable replacement. If we can’t tempt you with another item, store credit can be held or we will give you a full refund via Paypal or direct deposit (D.D - N.Z only).
Belle Bird must receive the item back for exchange or refund within 7 days in perfect unused condition and store tags still attached. We reserve the right to not accept an item for return/exchange if it’s condition is in question. Please choose appropriate packaging, we take no responsibility for items damaged in transit due to packaging issues.
Please note: You must meet the cost of returning items to Belle Bird for exchange or refund. You must use a track and trace option, as we cannot accept any responsibly for items being lost in the post. Belle Bird will courier back your exchange option. This is free for New Zealand customers, $25 NZ for Australian customers and $45 for all other international customers. One exchange per order.
IMPORTANT: In the event of a refund you will be refunded the full amount of the item excluding the shipping costs.
SALE ITEMS. We can exchange sale items but no refunds, so please choose carefully. For hygiene reasons we are also unable to accept returns on swimwear, lingerie, earrings or any beauty products –please choose carefully.
There will be a standard shipping charge on sales items being exchanged. $6.50 within N.Z. $25 to Australia & $50 rest of the world.
We do not accept returns/exchanges through our Dunedin store for items purchased on-line and visa-versa.
PRE ORDERS. We are happy to exchange your pre-order if its not right but are unable to offer a refund. Please choose carefully before selecting your pre-order.
Steps for exchanging or returning an item….
ONE: Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know why you would like to return or exchange your item.
TWO: We will then issue you with a return authorisation number (RA) via email. This will have a seven-day validation dated from when you received the RA email. A return/exchange form would have been sent with your purchase, clearly write the RA number in the space provided and fill out the form.
THREE: Send the item back to Belle Bird via track and trace at your own cost with..
- The return/exchange form.
- Item in perfection condition and packaged appropriately.
- Returned within 7 days.
In the event your item is faulty please email us on email@example.com and clearly explain the fault and we will issue a Return Authority number. We cannot accept items that have faulted due to general wear & tear or misuse. General wear & tear includes pulls and pilings in fabrics. All jewellery is delicate we cannot accept returns where jewellery has caught on something causing it to break.
If your item is faulty due to a manufacturing issue we will either repair or replace it. If a repair or replacement is not appropriate for you particular fault, we will issue on-line store credit.
All items must be returned with receipt and via track & trace, and the returns form.
